Miniature Painted Portrait Earrings Vermeil Screwback Blue Lady Sterling Vintage
This is a vintage miniature painted portrait earrings that measure 7/8" x 5/8". These oval earrings are the screwback style and are marked by maker on the back, " sterling". The metal setting is gold tone so these are vermeil earrings. The portraits are under glass tops. The well detailed picture is a lady in blue with pearl necklace. The portraits are mirror image....each figure facing the other. The earrings are in functional condition with some light tarnish. There is a very slight bend to one of the screw backs but it is functional. I have photographed from the side so you can examine. The glass is in good order without cracks.
